Pet of the Week: Cinch

Pet of the Week

Cinch is a 3 to 5-year-old male. This poor guy came to the shelter trapped, with mats and very scared. Staff are guessing he lived outdoors for a while. Now that he is getting the love and food he had been missing his true colors are starting to shine. Oh, and by the way, his new hair do is quite becoming. This quirky little fella is finding his way into the hearts of the staff quickly. They are finding that his haircut matches his personality: Funny and odd, yet very lovable. He gets along with other cats and prefers nothing else but to sit in your lap and purr. Rarely does the staff meet such a cat that can be so content to just chill in your lap for hours. Come on down and meet this peculiar cat and fall in love in a cinch!

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays.
