Judgments

Rocky L. Berg, 25, charge dismissed, fifth-degree criminal mischief. He pleaded guilty to third-degree theft. He was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 60 days in jail with 55 days suspended, and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service. He was ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to apply for an Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend and pay restitution; and was placed on probation for one year.

Andre Drake, 57, charge dismissed, fourth-degree weapons misconduct. He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Eric B. Benson, 54, charge dismissed, fourth-degree weapons misconduct. He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Winto J. Everette, 57, pleaded not guilty to charges of resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass and fifth-degree criminal mischief. He was found guilty by a jury on all three charges. He was sentenced to 50 days in jail with 40 days suspended on the first count, 20 days in jail with 20 days suspended on the second count, and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended on the third count; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.

Tanner O. Connelly, 24, pleaded guilty to concealment of merchandise. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 probation surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to have no contact with Ulmer’s Drug and Hardware; and was placed on probation for one year.

Carol J. Igou, 28, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft. She was sentenced to 40 days in jail with 35 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to have no contact with Ulmer’s Drug and Hardware and to pay restitution; and was placed on probation for one year.

Derek Parker, 25, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 88 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100; ordered to attend a domestic violence intervention program and not have contact with his victim; and was placed on probation for one year.
