New to the Art Shop Gallery is glass artist Nancy Wise, who shows work she calls “fused recycled glass.” Her pieces combine recycled window and float glass with reactive dry enamels, aluminum, copper, mica and even Kachemak Bay sand.

April artist-in-residence Adam Ottavi shows his fine-art portraits, still lives and landscapes photographed the past month. Using the 19th century collodion wet-plate process, Ottavi has been shooting images using a custom camera and 16-inch-by-20-inch glass plates. On Saturday, Ottavi also presents a free workshop on his technique.
To close out Sexual Assault Awareness Month, on Saturday Sarah Jane Johnson presents her play, “Devil in a Box.” Also shown is “Voices Unite,” a collection of performances from teen and adult survivor writing workshops done through South Peninsula Haven House. The show benefits Haven House. Tickets are on sale at Bunnell Street Art Center, the Homer Bookstore and Haven House.
