Police at 2:58 a.m. made a traffic stop on a 27-year-old man near Mile 171 Sterling Highway. Police arrested the man for driving under the influence.
A caller at 9:28 a.m. reported unauthorized use of a car. Police later located the car.
A caller at 11:02 a.m. reported people running stop signs on Bartlett Street.
A caller at 1 p.m. reported a theft at an Early Spring Street address.
A caller at 1:15 p.m. reported receiving threatening text messages.
A caller at 2:32 p.m. reported an expected death at home at a Mary Allen Avenue address. Police responded.
A caller at 3:32 p.m. reported a car in the ditch on FAA Road and said the driver might be drunk. Police responded and arrested a 53-year-old man for DUI and weapons misconduct.
A caller at 5:40 p.m. reported a drunk man in her Main Street apartment. Police responded and determined it was a civil issue.
A caller at 9:36 p.m. reported a drunk man walking into traffic on East End Road. Police could not find the man.

A caller at 1:29 p.m. reported a car hit a sign near Mile 170 Sterling Highway. Police responded and found no injuries.
A person at 2:15 p.m. went to the police station to report third-party rumors.
A man at 2 p.m. reported a theft from a Pennock Street home.
A caller at 6:32 p.m. reported a suspicious man in a Bartlett Street parking lot.

Police at 5:01 a.m. contacted a person driving on Ocean Drive and warned the person not to drive on a permit without a licensed driver as a passenger.
A person at 12:30 p.m. made a 911 call of a domestic dispute over a civil issue on Pennock Street.
A caller at 2:20 p.m. reported ongoing problems with vehicles parked on or near the roadway on Heath Street near Klondike Avenue.
Several callers at 3:01 p.m. reported a man lying down in a Main Street parking lot. Police responded and found all was OK.
A man at 8:02 p.m. made a 911 call that he needed assistance at a Main Street address. Police responded and provided him transportation.
A caller at 9:14 p.m. reported an open door at a Mullikin Street home. Police responded and did not find any forced entry.
A caller at 10:47 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle in the Soundview Avenue area. The car was gone when police arrived.

A caller at 1:26 a.m. reported suspicious activity at an East End Road home.
A caller at 3:46 p.m. reported adults buying liquor for juveniles at a Sterling Highway store.
A caller at 6:05 p.m. reported a tricycle stolen from a Ben Walters Lane yard.
A caller at 6:58 p.m. asked for options regarding a landlord-tenant dispute at a Kramer Lane address. Another person called 911 and yelling could be heard in the background. Police responded and found no crime had happened.
Jan. 20
Police at 3:43 a.m. contacted a driver on Ben Walters Lane and issued a summons for driving while license suspended to a 33-year-old man.
A caller at 6 a.m. reported seeing a suspicious acting man on Pioneer Avenue.
A caller at 7:54 a.m. reported a burglary at a Lakeside Drive address. Police responded.
A caller at 11:30 a.m. reported a scam.
A caller at 3:25 p.m. reported a shoplifter at a Pioneer Avenue store. Police responded and arrested a 29-year-old man for fourth-degree assault.
A caller at 4:43 p.m. reported being threatened.
Several callers at 5:46 p.m. reported two cars hit a moose near Mile 2.5 East End Road. Police responded and called a tow truck and a charity to salvage the moose meat.
A caller at 10 p.m. said she need help opening a door at a Kachemak Drive building. Police responded.

A caller at 12:23 a.m. reported a suspicious man knocked on her Grubstake Avenue door. Police responded and determined the man knocked on the wrong door.
Police at 2:55 p.m. attempted to serve an arrest warrant on a person at a North Fork Road address.
A person at 3:55 p.m. came to the station to report a break-in at a Pennock Street home. Police responded.
A caller at 9:20 p.m. reported suspicious activity at public restrooms on West Pioneer Avenue. Police responded and issued a warning to a person about illegal camping on city property.
Jan. 22
Police at 1:13 a.m. checked the Airport Beach and issued a trespass warning to a man for trespassing on private property.
Police at 12:49 p.m. assisted Alaska State Troopers in apprehending a wanted Homer suspect at a Mark Lane address in Anchor Point.
A caller at 6:27 p.m. reported an injured animal at Bishop’s Beach.
Police at 6:26 p.m. contacted a 44-year-old man on a warrant at a Pioneer Avenue address. Police arrested the man.
Police at 8:12 p.m. served a search warrant at a Junction Avenue address.
A caller at 9:10 p.m. reported an unoccupied car slid down an icy driveway on East Hill Road and into the road. Police contacted the car’s owner and had it moved.
A man at 10:48 p.m. reported someone tampered with his car.
Jan. 23
Police at 1:03 a.m. contacted a car with a woman in distress on Pioneer Avenue.
Police at 2:29 a.m. made a traffic stop on a care on the Sterling Highway near West Hill Road and arrested a 40-year-old man for driving while license revoked and violating conditions of release.
A caller at 4:23 p.m. reported an unknown man knocked on her Heath Street door and would not leave until she said she would call the police.
A 30-year-old male prisoner at 4 p.m. attempted to escape near Mile 110 Sterling Highway in Kasilof while being taken by a Homer Jail Officer to Wildwood Pretrial Facility in Kenai. The jail officer prevented the attempted escape.
Police at 11:24 p.m. arrested a 21-year-old man on a warrant and for driving while license revoked and making a false report.
Jan. 24
Security companies made several reports of alarms going off between 1:33 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. due to the earthquake. Police checked the reports to make sure buildings were secure.
Police at 2:38 a.m. contacted drunk pedestrians on Pioneer Avenue. Police warned the people not to enter bars or liquor stores for the rest of the night.
A caller from the Lower 48 asked police to check on a family member. Police could not find the person.
Police at 5:50 a.m. assisted firefighters with a structure fire on Clover Lane.
A caller at 9:15 a.m. reported a drunk woman causing a disturbance on Fairview Avenue. The woman was in a car not belonging to her. Police arrested her for trespass.
Jan. 25
Police at 1:14 a.m. assisted medics with a lifeline alert at a Fairview Avenue home.
A caller at 6:44 a.m. reported a possible water main break with road damage on Early Spring Street. Public Works responded. The Sunday earthquake caused the break.
A caller at 8:24 a.m. reported a woman shoplifting and a man threatening staff at a Sterling Highway business. Police contacted the couple and issued them trespass notices.
