Mallory Fox and Travis Scott of Anchor Point were married on Dec. 27, 2008 at the Fox family home in Anchor Point. The ceremony was performed by the bride's father, Paul Fox. Best man was David Nakano, and the bride's daughter, Juleigh Fox, was flower girl. A reception followed.

The groom graduated from Deer Park High School in Deer Park, Texas, and from Lee College in Baytown, Texas. He is employed as a carpenter at Nomad Shelter Yurts in Homer.
Parents of the bride are Joyce Fox of Hot Springs, Ark., and Paul Fox of Nome. The grooms parents are Bernice Scott of Pasadena, Texas, and James Scott of Shoreacres, Texas.
The bride graduated from Lakeside High School in 2001, and from Quapaw Technical Institute in 2003, both located in Hot Springs, Ark. She is employed at the Homer News as Office Manager.
