Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited a 31-year-old Anchorage man for possessing commercially caught halibut without a commercial fisheries entry commission card.
Wildlife Troopers at 4:47 p.m. investigated an empty Chevrolet pickup truck parked partially in the road near Mile 161 Sterling Highway. Troopers found a 52-year-old Anchor Point man in woods near the truck. The man said he was hunting in the area and had a dead lynx which he said he shot. Troopers cited the man for hunting without a current license in possession.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 36-year-old Anchor Point man for retaining lingcod during a closed season while commercial fishing in June.
