Art classes offered




The Kachemak Bay Campus offers several art, music and writing classes for the winter semester. Ceramic artist Paul Dungan presents a 15-week ceramics class starting Jan. 17. Award-winning artist Sandy Gillespie teaches a new class in color design for those at all levels. Long-time instructor and artist Asia Freeman returns to teach intermediate drawing. Photographer Taz Tally teaches a seven-week class in digital camera techniques.

Musician JulieAnn Smith teaches fundamentals of music for those wanting to learn to read music or refresh their abilities.

Poet Erin Hollowell teaches a new poetry course on Thursday evenings and author Nancy Lord teaches a multi-genre creative writing class. On-line and walk-in registration is now being held at www.homer.alaska.edu. Advanced registration is required. Register early. For more information call 235-7743.
