Information about fire, police and troopers is taken from public records consisting of logbooks and press releases.

Dec. 16

Emergency medical technicians at 9:40 p.m. went to the airport to meet an inbound aircraft carrying a 24-year-old woman with a medical emergency. They treated and transported her to South Peninsula Hospital.

Dec. 18

EMTs and rescue workers at 12:54 p.m. went to a single-vehicle rollover on Kachemak Way. They treated and transported the driver, a 76-year-old woman, to the hospital.

Dec. 19

Firefighters at 6:23 p.m. went to a possible structure fire on James Road. Upon arrival they found a controlled burn in compliance with burning regulations. They cancelled the call.

Dec. 20

Firefighters at 12:22 p.m. went to a refrigerant leak at Save-U-More on Greatland Street. They ventilated the building and confirmed the air was clear.

Dec. 21

EMTs at 4:50 p.m. went to a fire alarm at Homer High School. They found the alarm had been set off by welding in the shop. They cancelled the call.

Dec. 22

Firefighters at 10:15 p.m. went to a downed power line on Greer Road. They stood by until HEA crews arrived to secure the line.
