I'm surprised by your cartoonist's portrayal of the local Nutcracker production as being an eight-year, cookie-cutter, seen-one-seen-'em-all ballet. There are changes made every year, and this year the changes were fairly profound: new storyline, new sets, new dances, new music.

Other than that, we appreciate the coverage by your paper. It helped us achieve a record-breaking total attendance of 3,353.
