Alaska State Troopers at 8:17 a.m. went to a car crash on East End Road near Waterman Road. Troopers allege an 18-year-old woman driving west lost control on icy roads, crossed the road and drove through a driveway into a field. She did not wear her seatbelt and hit the steering wheel. EMTs took her to South Peninsula Hospital.
Dec. 14
Troopers at 8:40 p.m. received a report of a possibly drunk driver on the Sterling Highway near Diamond Ridge Road. Troopers found a 65-year-old Homer woman drove into a guardrail. They allege she was drunk and arrested her for driving under the influence. The woman wore her seat belt and was not injured.
Dec. 15
Troopers at 9:44 p.m. contacted a 27-year-old Anchor Point man during an investigation and cited him for driving without a valid driver's license.
Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited a 29-year-old Homer man in Dutch Harbor for possessing undersize blue king crab on board a crab fishing boat. Troopers seized the undersize crab.
Dec. 16
Bureau of Highway Patrol troopers at 2:55 a.m. made a traffic stop on a 41-year-old Ninilchik man near Mile 107 Sterling Highway in Soldotna. Troopers arrested the man for DUI.
