Homer musician Eddie Wood offers a two-day percussion workshop with emphasis on hand and finger drumming, improvisation and ensemble exercises, and an introductory session in Cuban clave and Brazilian samba rhythm. The workshops are 10 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Jan. 21 and 1-4 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Homer Council on the Arts. Limited to 18 students, the workshop is open to anyone age 15 and older. The fee is $74 for Homer Council on the Arts members and $90 for nonmembers. To register, call 235-4288.
