Hospice support appreciated
Congratulations to Norma Lewis. Norma is the winner of the annual Hospice of Homer fall raffle. This year, the raffle's theme was "A Holiday Shopping Spree in Homer." The winning raffle ticket was worth over $600 of gift certificates from Homer businesses.

A special thanks to the businesses who took part in the raffle and have generously given to Hospice in a variety of ways over the year: Art Shop Gallery, Barb's Video, Beachcombers III, Country Rose Flowers, Eagle Quality Center, Homestead Restaurant, Kachemak Gear Shed, North Wind Homer Collection, Orca Specialties, Spenard Builders, the Homer Bookstore, the Grog Shop and Total Office Products.

Also, thanks to all the Hospice of Homer volunteers who helped with our annual fall raffle fund-raiser and to community members who supported Hospice by purchasing raffle tickets. Their time, effort and financial support allow us to continue to provide essential services to the residents of the southern Kenai Peninsula as they experience a life-threatening illness or the transition of dying. How blessed we all are to live in such a giving community.

Darlene Hilderbrand, executive director, Hospice of Homer
