Keep Christ in Christmas
Merry CHRISTmas.

I find today that more and more folks are greeting one another with "Happy holidays," even if you say "Merry Christmas" first. "Merry Christmas" is almost a thing of the past. I think we all know that this "holiday" would not even be celebrated if it were not for the birth of Jesus the Christ.

Christmas means the celebration of Christ. The Lord says in Isaiah 51:13, "You have forgotten the Lord your maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the Earth."

Jesus' birth, our Christmas, is the one act of God that offers us hope of true love and peace. Jesus did the rest by offering his life to pay for our sin and restore the believer back to a right relationship with God. Let's not forget during this "holiday" that God gave the greatest gift of all, His son, Jesus Christ.

I speak the truth in love.

Merry Christmas my friends.
