Doug Schwiesow, 58, died Dec. 12, 2011, at South Peninsula Hospital. A memorial torchlight sunset ski is at 3 p.m. Dec. 21, 2011, at Lookout Mountain, with hot apple cider provided. Friends also may bring their own refreshments. A potluck dinner and celebration of life, with music and dancing, follows at 6 p.m. at Alice's Champagne Palace.
