Homer High DDF took 18 students to the Eagle River High School Drama, Debate and Forensics tournament last weekend and competed with 12 schools from the Anchorage area and Seward, and brought home the following awards: Drew Turner, Owen Duffy, Neal Wimmerstedt - 3rd Place, Readers' Theatre Carly McLean, Iustina Kuznetsov, Damon del Toro - 4th Place, Readers' Theatre Johnny Hamilton and Lindsey Schneider - 3rd Place, Pantomime Evan Boyer and Jonas Noomah - 3rd Place, Duo Interpretation Evan Boyer - 3rd Place, Dramatic Interpretation Matthew Meyer - 4th Place, Dramatic Interpretation Johnny Hamilton - 1st Place, Humorous Interpretation Sydney Paulino - 5th Place, Humorous Interpretation Emmet Meyer - 6th Place, Humorous Interpretation Iustina Kuznetsov and Damon del Toro - 2nd Place, Duet Acting Jacob Mayforth - 2nd Place, Solo Acting Lindsey Schneider - 5th Place, Solo ActingWhole Team - 3rd Place, Individual Events (Non-Debate) Sweepstakes Whole Team - 4th Place, Overall Sweepstakes
