Health Fair healthy
This year's annual Homer Kachemak Bay Rotary Health Fair was an enormous success thanks to each and every person who made it possible.

Our tremendous gratitude goes out to the South Peninsula Hospital Ladies Auxiliary for the mammoth task of pre-registration. Many thanks to everyone involved from the hospital for working above and beyond the call of duty.

Further appreciation goes to all of the 45 caring and committed health fair exhibitors, to those who generously donated door prizes, to the Alaska Blood Bank for traveling down to Homer to receive blood donations, and to the Roanoke Island Coast Guard crew for their interactive water survival and safety demonstrations.

Because the health of our community matters to us, all these dedicated folks worked together to produce another great health fair with more than 1,000 people in attendance. It is inspiring to be a part of this extraordinary community effort.
