Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to 10 medical calls and one rescue call.

Firefighters went to a rescue call at 11:55 a.m. to a Mattox Street home for two children locked in a second-floor bedroom. Firefighters used a ladder to enter the bedroom window and removed a broken door knob to open the door.
