Last February, about a thousand Kachemak Bay residents asked the KBBI Board of Directors to use its powers to retain local programming and adhere to the mission of the station to provide a local voice for the community. They ignored us.

Now we are hoping to vote in three new board members who will abide by KBBI's main mission to serve as a voice for the Kachemak Bay area residents. I'm having my ballot express-mailed to me. I will express-mail it back to the station because every vote counts. Your ballots should have arrived in your mailbox. I urge every member to vote for the three candidates who will return the station to the people.
