The Lakewood Inn closed its doors three months ago when operators failed to pay water and electrical utility bills. Creditors and the Homer police have not been able to track down the owner.

Angry local residents call upon the Homer City Council to quash plans to build a sewer line in the Thompson subdivision 1.5 miles east of Homer and assess the residents $20,647.
