KKELC says thanks

On behalf of Kachemak Kids Early Learning Center, I would like to express our gratitude for the Pratt Museum's Education Department and Ryjil Christiansian for leading our field trip.

Ryjil provided our preschoolers and toddlers with great hands-on science activities. The children had the opportunity to touch many different sea creatures as well as scavenger hunt for living creatures in the tanks. The children showed much enthusiasm with feeding the sea urchins. We plan to travel the short walk across the street again soon. I would also like to share our appreciation for the Homer Public Library. Claudia Haines has started coming to our center to provide a library time for our preschoolers and toddlers. The children were smitten with Claudia; they had a wonderful time listening and talking with Claudia about the new books brought over from the Library. Kachemak Kids is a strong promoter of reading with your children and we are so gratified to have the Homer Public Library involved in our center on a regular basis. The children are excited about our next library visit this coming month.
