How's this for irony?
Does anyone else find it ironic that one week our local newspaper reports the state of Alaska fined an individual for operating a motor vehicle in a salmon spawning river and the next week reports the state of Alaska intends to allow a corporation to use heavy equipment to operate in a salmon spawning river to "remove" an 11-mile section for coal mining? Please, Gov. Parnell, do not allow the Chuit River to be destroyed in order to mine coal for China.
