Dr. Steve Atwater, superintendant of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District, will be the guest speaker at a Homer Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Nov. 29. The luncheon will be from noon-1 p.m. at the Beluga Lake Lodge. Atwater will speak about student success, assessments, enrollment and finances. Lunch is $12 for chamber members and $14 for nonmenbers. Those wanting to attend are asked to RSVP to the optional lunch by calling 235-7740 or emailing membership@homeralaska.org.
