Homer Wilderness Leaders
Homer Wilderness Leaders will host an evening of adventure films and auctions from 7-10 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center. The fee is $10. The evening will include the world premiere of the 2011 HoWL movies; a live and silent auction benefiting HoWL featuring Alaska seafood, outdoor adventures and fishing trips, outdoor gear and more; and a special screening of Sweetgrass Productions' latest ski film, "Solitaire." The evening is a way to do your holiday shopping and support HoWL, which is dedicated to providing experiential education to young people in Alaska.
