Nov. 6

Alaska State Troopers at 4:04 p.m. went to a two-car head-on crash at Mile 134 Sterling Highway near Ninilchik. Troopers allege a 22-year-old man driving north in a 2002 Kia Sedan lost control and spun around, facing south. A 61-year-old woman driving a 2004 Pontiac hit the Kia at a slow speed. Air bags went off on the Pontiac. Troopers said they believed all parties wore seat belts. Both drivers had minor injuries, but Ninilchik EMS took the man to Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.

Troopers at 7:17 p.m. went to a single-car rollover near Mile 2 Diamond Ridge Road. Troopers allege a 19-year-old Homer man driving a Ford F250 truck lost control, spun around and went into the ditch backwards, winding up on the truck's side. The driver and his passenger wore seat belts and were not injured.

Nov. 7

Troopers at 4:28 p.m. received a report of an unattended death at a Port Graham home. Family members reported finding a 92-year-old Port Graham woman dead. No foul play was suspected. The Alaska Medical Examiner was notified and the body was released to family.

Nov. 10

Troopers at 2 a.m. went to an East End Road home for a report of a disturbance. Troopers allege a 30-year-old Homer man put women at the home in fear of injury. Troopers arrested the man for fourth-degree assault.

Nov. 11

Troopers at 9:13 a.m. received a report that a Chinese-made motorcycle worth $800 had been stolen from a Happy Valley home.
