Kachemak Bay Campus

At 6:30 p.m. Monday, Cathy Stingley, Clinical Director for HANDLE of Homer, presents "Why the Label Attention Deficit is Incorrect." The talk will provide a different perspective on attentional issues experienced by children and adults. Consideration will be given to what it is that happens when someone is not attending or seems to not be attending. Could it be that some people cannot look and listen at the same time? Could it be that some people who appear to not be listening are indeed hearing us and processing that information?

On Nov. 30, at 6:30 p.m. there will be a public reading of flash fiction work from creative writing students.

Registration for winter/spring semester classes is now going on for degree-seeking students and begins Nov. 21, for the general public. Sign-up early; pay in Janueary. Classes begin Jan. 17.
