Thanks for supporting health fair

We apologize.

To those of you who had to wait for your blood draw during the Rotary Health Fair this year, we apologize. In recent years we have eliminated lines with the online pre-registration and pre-draws at the hospital. We were simply caught off guard by the huge number of people that showed up to have their blood drawn without appointments at Saturday's fair.

Additional staff will be on hand next year to avoid long lines in the future. If you were unable to get your blood drawn on Saturday due to delays please call the Rotary Health Fair Hotline at 299-0735 and we will assist you.

On behalf of the Homer Kachemak Bay Rotary Club and our partner South Peninsula Hospital, we thank this community for your continued support of the Rotary Health Fair. We saw more than 1,000 people come through the door, picking up results, getting blood drawn or coming to see what they could learn about improving their health. The exhibitors outdid themselves this year with new and interesting information. We also had lots of great door prizes donated by the exhibitors. We had Seaside Singers and Ukuleles to entertain us. A special thank you goes out to Ohlson Mountain Mineral Springs H2O for donating all the water for this year's Fair.

We value your time and interest. We will continue to work hard to bring you a better and improved Rotary Health Fair ever year.
