Kenai Peninsula Borough officials are aggressively marketing the logging sale of as much as 333 square miles of the Kenai Peninsula.

The Sterling Highway from Anchor Point to Homer would be expanded to as wide as five lanes in places under a plan outlined by Alaska DOT.

Plans to hang the bones of a beached months-old sperm whale in the Homer High School passed the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District's office.
