Thanks to 'Trick-or-Treat Street'

It was a beautiful night for trick or treating on the Mountain View/Bayview Avenue loop. The community sharing a nonorganized event is a wonderful way to keep Homer a small town. Thank you to the homes that turned on a light for more than 300 goblins and ghosts to be given treats.

I also wanted to keep the community updated on the box at Save-U-More that was ready for gracious folks to put in a bag of candy to be donated to the Mountain View/Bayview Avenue loop homes. This is a big thank you for the 10 donated bags of candy. These were given to support the Senior Center this year. We hope to continue this effort of candy donation in a bigger way next year for the residents of "Trick or Treat Street."
