Oct. 25

A woman at 9:27 a.m. reported a disturbance with East End Road neighbors over a sign blowing into their yard.

Police at 6:47 p.m. saw a 27-year-old man known to them to have a revoked license driving near Main and Lee streets and arrested him for driving while licensed revoked.

A woman at 11:39 p.m. reported an intoxicated man in the ditch at Main Street and Pioneer Avenue. Police responded and gave the man a ride to a hotel.

Oct. 26

A man at 12:01 a.m. reported his wife to be extremely intoxicated and that she hit him and broke his glasses at their Mattox Street home. Police arrested a 39-year-old woman for assault, domestic violence.

Police at 12:27 a.m. contacted a man on Bunnell Street alleged to be violating his probation.

Police at 3:07 a.m. arrested a 40-year-old man for driving under the influence at Mattox and East End roads.

Police at 10 a.m. received a report that the shoulder of East End Road near Arva was washing out. Police pulled a traffic cone out farther into the road.

A man at 2:26 p.m. reported people driving 4-wheelers up and down Aspen Court. Police could not locate the suspects.

A woman at 3:16 p.m. found a machete in the Pioneer Avenue area. Police recovered and disposed of the machete.

Police at 4:56 p.m. arrested a 21-year-old woman on several outstanding warrants near West Hill and Hillside roads.

A 56-year-old woman at 6:42 p.m. complained that her 56-year-old sister hurt her and she wanted her removed from her Spit Road home. Police arrested both women for assault, domestic violence.

A man at 4:50 p.m. reported finding a tool box on the side of the road near Mile 160 Sterling Highway.

Police at 10:28 p.m. stopped 19-year-old man on Pioneer Avenue for driving with inoperable headlights. They arrested him on a warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of minor consuming alcohol.

Police at 10:47 p.m. arrested a 41-year-old man for a probation violation at his Klondike Avenue home.

The Coast Guard at 10:15 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the end of the Pioneer Dock near the Sedge. Police contacted the people in the vehicle. They said they were just looking at the moon.

Oct. 27

Police at 1:24 a.m. summonsed a girl at Mile 174 Sterling Highway for minor consuming alcohol.

Police at 1:38 a.m. stopped the driver of a 1985 Audi for speeding on Diamond Ridge Road near Skyline Drive. They summonsed a juvenile passenger for MCA.

A man at 1 p.m. reported juveniles in a dark-colored Subaru threw something at his car and that he had stopped them on Lakeshore Drive.

A man at 2:20 p.m. reported radar equipment taken sometime the night before from a boat in the harbor.

Police at 6:44 p.m. went to a one-vehicle rollover on Kachemak Drive near the Bay Club. They arrested a 30-year-old man for DUI.

A man at 8:03 p.m. reported loud vehicles and yelling coming from Karen Hornaday Park. Access to the park had been blocked off because of flooding. Police found barricade signs knocked down and the suspects gone. The complainant put the signs back.

Police at 10:34 p.m. summonsed a 20-year-old man for MCA and minor operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol after stopping him at Soundview and the Sterling Highway.

Oct. 28

Police at 7:24 a.m. received a report of a break-in with money taken from a Pioneer Avenue address.

Police at 1:21 p.m. received a report of a tree in the road on Kachemak Drive.

A caller at 2:40 p.m. said a 10-foot-wide wire frame blew around on Ocean Drive.

A 20-year-old man at 6:59 p.m. turned himself in on a warrant at the police station.

Police at 10:38 p.m. warned a cab driver at Mile 2.5 Kachemak Drive for DUI.

Oct. 29

Police at 4:39 a.m. received a complaint of a dog barking intermittently in the Aspen Lane area. They contacted the owner who agreed to bring in the dog for the night.

Oct. 30

A man at 2:15 p.m. reported a tool box stolen out of the back of his truck while it was parked at Duggan's Bar on Oct. 29.

A man at 9:25 p.m. reported he had been gone the last month and when he returned two days ago found three firearms missing from his Rochelle Road home.

Oct. 31

A woman at 2:05 a.m. reported her estranged husband was breaking into her East Hill area home. Police arrested a 58-year-old man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.

A man at 10:53 a.m. reported two boxes of crab stolen from a Spit Road address.

A woman at 10:18 p.m. reported her daughter took the mother's car without permission at 6 p.m. and had not returned.

Police at 10:41 p.m. picked up a husky dog running loose on Pioneer Avenue and took it to the shelter.

Police at 11:29 p.m. summonsed a 20-year-old man for MCA.

Nov. 1

Police at 1:17 a.m. arrested a 53-year-old woman for DUI at Mile 1 Spit Road.

A woman at 8:32 a.m. reported seeing a young woman on West Hill Road who appeared to be distraught.

A city worker at 12:47 p.m. reported graffiti on the restroom near ramp 2 at the harbor.

A woman at 2:28 p.m. reported a woman took an overdose of insulin.

A woman at 4:16 p.m. reported a patient walked away from the hospital and returned at 4:40 p.m.

A mental health worker at 5:08 p.m. asked police to check on a patient who seemed incoherent. Police contacted the patient and found him to be OK.

A man at 7:45 p.m. reported that a woman was "going ballistic" in her Main Street apartment.

Police at 7:53 p.m. went to a complaint of a vehicle hit with paint balls at Lee and Main streets. They summonsed a juvenile for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

A man at 9:54 p.m. reported someone in a late-model Chevrolet pickup shot paint balls at his vehicle on the Bypass.

Police at 11:05 p.m. stopped a driver for speeding near Mile 3 Kachemak Drive and summonsed the driver for failure to provide proof of insurance.

Police at 11:34 p.m. summonsed an 18-year-old man on Lake Street and Smoky Bay Way for driving in violation of an instructional permit.

Nov. 2

Police at 2:38 a.m. summonsed three 18-year-old men on Ben Walters Lane for minors consuming alcohol.

Police at 9:22 a.m. stopped a 47-year-old man for speeding on Kachemak Drive and summonsed him for driving without an operator's license and failure to provide proof of insurance.

A man at 10 a.m. reported that over the previous two days someone had tried to break into Deep Creek Custom Packing on Freight Dock Road on the Spit.

A woman at 3:10 p.m. reported someone "nailed" her vehicle with a paintball while she drove on East Hill Road.

A man at 2:30 p.m. reported an unknown and unauthorized person living in his No View Avenue home.

Police at 9:41 p.m. assisted troopers in responding to an Ohlson Mountain Road home where juveniles were thought to be partying.

Nov. 3

Police at 8:28 p.m. arrested an 18-year-old man on the Bypass for driving while license suspended.

A woman at 9:55 p.m. reported a driver in an older blue pickup struck her vehicle on East End Road and left the scene. Police arrested a 41-year-old man for driving while license suspended, revoked or cancelled.

Nov. 4

Police at 2:28 p.m. received a report that someone kicked in the door of a recently vacated apartment on Mountainview Drive.
