The Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly holds a public hearing on sales tax amendments from 6-8 p.m. at Homer City Hall.

Saturday, Nov. 9

Kachemak Bay Rotary Club and South Peninsula Hospital sponsor the annual Health Fair from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the high school. Pre-register for blood, prostate and TSH screenings from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday at Eagle Quality Center.

Otter Beach Educational Center holds a fund-raiser, "February in Mexico," at 5 p.m. at the Elks club. Two Sisters provides food, and entertainment is by the Homer Middle School Concert Choir, the Homer High School Swing Choir and Otter Beach students and alumni. There is also an auction and a door prize of a one-week condo use in Cabo San Lucas. Dinner is $8 for adults, $5 for children and free for children under 6. Call 235-2308.

Sunday, Nov. 10

"Who wants to be a millionaire?" is the sermon topic at the Unitarian/Universalists' meeting at 12:30 p.m. at the Kachemak Bay Community Center.

Tuesday, Nov. 12
