YOUNG ACTOR NEEDED FOR FEATURE FILM

Young actors are encouraged to apply for the role of a 7-year-old girl in "Calling Fox," the next feature film to be produced by Brian Smith Productions of Homer. Smith defined the character as being "wise beyond her years." He is looking for someone with a quiet, complex look, good eyes, facials, with a lot going on and an ability to not get bored doing take after take of the same action. "A great 'stage mom' handy and available would be a plus," said Smith. It will film in the Homer area during summer and fall 2012. The story revolves around a young girl who is mute and has apparently been abandoned at a roadhouse; however, all may not be as it seems. Similar to Smith's recently filmed "Puffin Bay," the film is intended for DVD and cable market, with a premiere in Homer in early 2013. Send a short biography and one or two photos to sojourn50@alaska.net. Scripts are available via email.
