Homer Alaska - Letters

Just recently, we had to have a family pet put to sleep. It was a hard decision and one we have had to make before, but never as hard as this particular family member. She had really worked her way into our hearts.

We wanted to express our eternal gratitude to the Homer Veterinary Clinic, and particularly Dr. Dots Sherwood. As we cried, she had tears in her eyes. As we talked to our friend, she listened and she went beyond being our veterinarian and became a forever friend. Thank you, Dots.

This was the hardest thing we have had to do up to this point and you made it as easy as possible. To those who don't know the vets here, we are very, very lucky to have such caring ones in our community.

We'll miss you, Little Buddy. We'll see you again some day.
