Actions speak louder than words

Gov. Parnell has an opportunity to do the right thing and keep his promise to not trade one resource from another. As the governor of the state of Alaska that considers faith-based values publicly in making his decisions, I would challenge the morality of a decision that would strip local families of their food source and livelihood. All the while giving a foreign interest permission to bulldoze salmon streams and export profit leaving a mess for the locals to clean up.

As another that believes in a divine creator, I believe that the region was created in a manner with natural intelligence at its core (God's design is sustainable), actions speak louder than words, and hope that Gov. Parnell will remember his promise to those that voted for him, not the outside interest that have invested in his political campaign.

Who do you love: PacRim Coal or the people of the State of Alaska?
