Oct. 14

A caller at 3:19 p.m. reported someone taking logs off Bishop's Beach. Police could not locate the suspect.

A man at 5:36 p.m. reported drivers racing through the corner of Bunnell and Main streets heading toward Bishop's Beach.

A man at 7:32 p.m. reported two Rottweiler dogs running loose in the Mattox and Beluga area.

Police at 9:15 p.m. summonsed a 19-year-old woman for failure to provide proof of insurance.

Police at 9:55 p.m. stopped a 36-year-old woman driving a vehicle with a loud muffler and allege she was intoxicated. They arrested her for DWI.

Oct. 17

A woman at 2:17 p.m. reported a citizen made verbal threats to a city employee at Homer City Hall.

A man at 8 p.m. reported a young boy threw a rock onto the hood of his 2002 Chevrolet Suburban at Frisbee Court.

Police at 8:20 p.m. assisted troopers with a vehicle accident and DWI investigation at Mile 168 Sterling Highway near West Thomas.

Oct. 18

Guardian Security at 12:18 a.m. reported an alarm at a Pioneer Avenue business. Police responded and found all to be OK.

A man at 7:44 a.m. reported his neighbor's dogs would not let him out of his W. Fairview Avenue home.

A man at 4:04 p.m. reported his wife drove and backed her vehicle into another vehicle parked at the hospital. Police issued an accident report.

A woman at 4:19 p.m. reported an apparently intoxicated man sleeping in the men's room at the airport. She said the man had been bumped from a flight. Police called a taxi for the man.

A caller at 7:07 p.m. reported a black Ford Escort with tinted windows racing in the Beluga Place area. Police could not locate the suspect.

A man at 8:51 p.m. reported a small car passed him on Heath Street near the Bypass going at a high rate of speed. Police could not located the suspect.

A woman at 11:42 p.m. reported a boy threatened with a knife other juveniles at the Teen Center on Lake Street.

Oct. 19

A manager at 5:27 a.m. reported a footprint on the counter and other suspicious evidence at a Sterling Highway business.

Police at 11:05 a.m. arrested a 55-year-old man at a Main Street apartment on a warrant for failure to appear.

Police at 1:40 p.m. contacted a suspect riding a motorcycle on the Mariner Park slough and warned the rider not to ride in a critical habitat area.

A man at 5:22 p.m. reported another person had been bothering him all day and asked for police to intervene.

A man at 6:45 p.m. reported his son smoked marijuana at a party.

A woman at 6:58 p.m. reported her neighbors' dog killed two of her ducks. She also said her neighbors drank alcohol and then drove away. Police could not locate the suspects.

Oct. 20

A man at 3:13 p.m. reported someone dumped oil below a white pickup parked on Klondike Street.

A woman at 10:31 p.m. reported hearing a young woman crying in a neighboring apartment on Fairview Avenue. Police investigated and cited an 18-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman for minor consuming alcohol.

Oct. 21

A woman at 1:31 a.m. reported seeing a boy trying to steal belongings in their vehicle parked at a Pioneer Avenue bar.
