We are fortunate here on the Kenai Peninsula to have limited rabies exposure risk, but want to highlight that worldwide it is estimated that 55,000 people die from rabies annually despite being a preventable disease through both human and animal vaccination programs. To learn more, visit www.rabiescontrol.net. Thanks to each of our special canine and feline friends who braved the day to help bring a brighter one to somebody elsewhere.
