Police at 7:15 p.m. received a 911 call. When police called back, a woman answered and said she was having problems with her son but it was all OK. Police separated the parties but did not find any criminal activity.

A woman at 8:04 a.m. reported a dead dog in East End Road. Police removed the dog from the traffic lanes and advised the animal control officer.
A woman at 9:06 a.m. reported the strong smell of propane in the East Pioneer Avenue area. Firefighters responded but did not smell any further odor.
A caller at 11:31 a.m. reported items stolen from another person's apartment.
A man at 2:38 p.m. made a 911 call that windows had been broken out of his car and a stereo stolen at the Karen Hornaday Park Campground.
An off-duty officer at 3:49 p.m. reported seeing a man known to have an outstanding warrant. Police arrested a 22-year-old man on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
A man at 4:30 p.m. reported seeing items stolen from his business at another location.
A man at 5:39 p.m. reported construction on West Hill Road with no flaggers present. Police contacted the workers and they said they would be leaving soon.
A man at 6:54 p.m. reported drivers racing cars on Kachemak Drive with one car forced off the road. Police could not locate the drivers.
A woman at 7:32 p.m. reported she was missing her Alaska Permanent Fund dividend check.
Police at 7:40 p.m. arrested a 39-year-old woman on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

A man at 10:33 a.m. reported finding a 93-year-old man dead at his Pennock Street home.
A man at 12:07 a.m. reported drug activity at a Danview Avenue home.
A person at 4:05 p.m. turned in a found wallet. Police notified the owner.

A man at 8:06 a.m. reported gasoline stolen from his pickup truck gas tank while parked on Aspen Lane.
A woman at 4:13 p.m. reported her brother sent her threatening text messages and withheld her dividend.
A woman at 4:57 p.m. reporter her husband was being aggressive and had been drinking. Police responded to a Carlson Place home and arrested a 79-year-old man for assault.
Police at 8:01 p.m. received a 911 call from a woman at a Sterling Highway address who then hung up. When police called back the woman was uncooperative. Police responded and determined all was OK.
Oct. 17
Police at 1:48 a.m. saw an occupied car behind a closed business on Heath Street. Police contacted the driver and all was OK.
