Homer Physical Therapy welcomes new therapist




Sally Askins has joined Homer Physical Therapy as a physical therapist.

Askins moved from Utah to Homer and is an outdoor sports enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, skiing, golfing, fishing and hiking.

She specializes in working with a variety of orthopedic and sports injury patients. Askins has a strong manual therapy background, as well as experience with many types of athletes of all ability levels.

For the convenience of clients who wish to schedule appointments before work, Askins offers appointments at 8 a.m. and on some Saturdays. HPT accepts most insurance types and cash.

HPT has moved its Fitness Center to the Harbor School of Music at 3691 Ben Walters Lane. Fran Evarts has been joined by Tela O'Donnell and they have expanded their classes, adding an early morning Monday and Wednesday class and a circuit class on Friday.
