Many health screenings and services will be offered at the fair, including blood pressure tests, vision tests, hearing tests, balance tests and more.
Comprehensive blood analysis is available through the fair for only $35. Setting an appointment for your blood draw at the fair is encouraged and offered at www.sphosp.org and at the following locations and times:
Safeway: Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Chapman School Bazaar, Anchor Point: Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
No food or drink, only water, should be consumed 10-12 hours prior to the test. In all cases prescription medication should be taken and diabetics should not fast. Additional PSA, TSH, CRP, Vitamin D and blood type tests are available for additional costs.
Blood tests also are being offered at the hospital lab, with the results available for pickup at the fair. Appointments are offered from Oct. 24-Nov. 11. Make an appointment online at www.sphosp.org, and then register at the hospital's new main entrance when you arrive. Payment must be made by cash or check at time of the test, and checks can be made to Rotary.
