Leah's on a mission: To bust out of the Animal Shelter (silly girl) and find her very own forever home. This 2-year-old calico is sweet, inquisitive and playful, but would do better in a home without other cats. Now where's that darn ball of yarn?

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
