Restaurant policy appreciated
Congratulations and thank you to the Homestead Restaurant for becoming smoke-free! This is an exemplary step and shows real concern for the health not only of your patrons, but also your employees. Secondhand smoke is a serious health issue, and the more we learn, the more damning is the case against secondhand smoke. Currently, secondhand smoke is the third leading cause of preventable death in the United States. For every eight smokers who die from tobacco-related illnesses, one non-smoker dies from exposure to secondhand smoke -- 53,000 annually in the United States.

But thanks to the Homestead Restaurant, one more business is smoke-free; now patrons and employees alike can enjoy an atmosphere free of tobacco smoke. Thanks Homestead!!
