Jasper lives in the moment. A soft word, a touch, a little tidbit from a friend — life is good. This 3-year-old short-haired tabby mix is a lover boy, gentle but strong, who likes to give head butts. Jasper will fill in that empty space for one very special person.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
