Dissent needs to be heard
How sure one must be of himself and his position to hold both beyond criticism as our mayor chooses to do at the council meetings. It seems you are not permitted to speak, under public comments, of happenings you are in disagreement with. There is no criticism permitted.
Many learned and wise men have learned from the observations of others and have benefited from the same. Why would the mayor not welcome all comments at a public forum? After all, since we no longer have an open-door policy at city hall, just where is one to voice his differences?
