Fairbanks artist Rachelle Dowdy''s "From Here to There and There to Here" may be familiar to air travelers as the flock of oversize Canada geese suspended from the length of the ceiling at Concourse B at the Anchorage International Airport. Bunnell Street Arts Center says Dowdy "believes humans often view nature as a juggernaut, a destructive force to be controlled, when in actuality we are often the destroyers." Dowdy examines those dualities through sculptures of animals and of animal-human hybrids, often mounted to mimic hunters' trophies.

After the opening reception, Homer singer-songwriter Caressa plays her original jazzy/folksy/finger-pickin' soulful songs of freedom and love.
