As part of her artist residency starting next week, Elizabeth Ware with Mark Robokoff presents "War of Wills" at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Mariner Theater, a fundraiser for Bunnell Street Arts Center's Artist in Schools program. In their play, Ware and Robokoff bring to life William Shakespeare's interpretations of the battle of the sexes, a theme in Shakespearean plays from "Richard III" to "The Taming of the Shrew." Suggested for children grades 6 to adult, "War of Wills" is a "pay as you can" production, with suggested ticket prices of $5 to $10 for youth and $15 to $25 for adults. Ware and Robokoff also appear in "Helen," a play by Ellen McLaughlin and directed by David Edgecombe, showing at 8 p.m. Oct. 14 and 3 and 8 p.m. Oct. 15 at Bunnell Street Arts Center. Inspired by Homer's epic poems, "Helen" examines the question, "What is the price of beauty?" Featuring a talking cow and an irreverent goddess, the play is a timeless twist on an ancient story. Ursula Gould, Tamar Shai and Vivian Melde also appear in the play. Admission is pay as you can with a suggested price of $15. Advance tickets for both plays are on sale at Bunnell Street Arts Center.
