Lucy is spayed, 8-months-old and very, very loving. This short-haired gray-and-white cat is a tad bit shy, but gets along well with other cats. If you give her just a little bit of time, she'll be your very best friend for life.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the city's Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 235-3141.
