Chelsea Phyla and Mojave Morelli

Chelsea is the daughter of Allan and Patti Pyhala of Anchor Point. She graduated from Homer High School in 2002, and from Eastern Washington University in 2007, with her BA in English. Mojave is the son of Bruce and Shirley Morelli, and a 2001 graduate of Selkirk High School in Ione, Washington. Chelsea and Mojave were introduced in 2004, by a mutual friend, while they were attending school at Eastern. Chelsea returned home shortly after for summer vacation. Six months later the two met again and began dating in December 2004. Currently, the couple lives in Spokane, WA and plan to stay in Eastern Washington for the time being. Mojave manages Green Wave Gardens for his family, and Chelsea works alongside him at the farmer's market in Spokane. Chelsea also works in a Spokane office during the week. They enjoy spending time rock climbing, snowshoeing, hiking and other activities in the outdoors of the Inland Northwest. Chelsea and Mojave have delayed their honeymoon in order to wait for fall harvest to be completed. They will honeymoon in Kauai, HI in mid November.
