PFD can help Share the Spirit

Dear Neighbors,

Fall is here and with the cooler weather in Alaska comes that most magical time of the year, PFD season! As we all heard recently, the PFD will be a healthy size, not the largest ever, but certainly nothing to sniff at, and with the PFD comes an economic boon for our community. Today Share the Spirit offers our annual reminder to take a few minutes, if you haven't already, to plan on how best to put your PFD to use.

Here are a couple of suggestions that we hope you will consider: make a donation to your favorite charity so they can continue their good works, put money aside to join our Adopt-A-Family program or to purchase gifts for a needy child from the Share the Spirit "Gift Tree," and if you think you will need help during the holidays, put money away from your PFDs, save now so you won't be in need when the holidays arrive. A little planning goes a long way.

Always remember to Share the Spirit,

Kelly Glidden and Shari Daugherty
