Homer Alaska - Letters

Big Brothers Big Sisters would like to send a Big thank you to Homer Air for their donation and the Homer Foundations Youth Advisory Committee for their grant that helped several of our Bigs and Littles to go flightseeing around Kachemak Bay. Our YAC funds were able to cover the cost of one plane ride and Homer Air graciously donated two additional plane rides so that more of our matches could participate. For many of our Little Brothers and Sisters, this was their first time in a small plane or any plane at all. Big Brother Wes Head, who is also a pilot for Homer Air, was quick to put the Littles at ease and gave both the Littles and Bigs a trip to remember. It is this kind of generosity that makes living in our community special for everyone.
