Homer Fish and Wildlife Protection troopers cited a 60-year-old Anchor Point man for harvesting and having in possession commercially taken halibut from the waters of the north Gulf Coast without first obtaining a state CFEC permit card.
Homer FWP troopers cited a 25-year-old Kodiak man for harvesting and having in possession commercially taken black cod from the waters of the north Gulf Coast without first obtaining a state CFEC permit card.
Sept. 7
Troopers at 7:37 p.m. went to Mile 6.8 North Fork Road for a collision between a 1991 Honda and a 2000 Chrysler minivan. The collision caused $6,000 in damages. All occupants wore seat belts, and the driver of the Honda, a 47-year-old Nikolaevsk man, received minor injuries. Troopers cited him for reckless driving.
Sept. 9
Troopers at 2 p.m. received a report of a new Honda generator and a set of Dewalt power tools taken from a job site near Voznesenka sometime the evening of Sept. 8. Troopers ask that anyone with information regarding this incident contact them at 235-8239.
Troopers at 9:13 p.m. went to a vehicle accident in Voznesenka between a 27-year-old woman driving a 1993 Ford van and a 15-year-old boy driving a 1993 Toyota van. Both drivers wore seat belts and received minor injuries. The accident caused about $5,000 in damages. Troopers cited the boy for speeding and summonsed him for driving in violation of an instructional permit.
Sept. 12
Troopers at 2 a.m. went to Mile 135 Sterling Highway near Ninilchik for a vehicle accident. They allege a 19-year-old Kasilof man driving a 1998 Toyota rolled and went into the ditch when the car's front passenger-side tire fell off. The accident injured two passengers, a Kasilof man and a Soldotna woman. The driver left the scene before troopers arrived and did not report the accident. Charges are pending against the driver.
Sept. 13
Troopers at 4:56 p.m. received a report that someone took about $400 in lumber from a construction site near McNeil Canyon between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. that day.
