Pets of the week

Pets of the Week

Robbie is a charmer and can charm the sox off a rooster. This four-year-old orange and white, spayed male cat is the king of all he surveys. Very loving and affectionate, but still quite playful, Robbie would be great with kids and other animals.

BeeBee has opinions and is not shy about sharing them. A 5-year-old gray and white tabby mix, this girl is a talker. She loves to rub up against you and purr, talk about sports, the weather ... that piece of fish you have there in your hand.

The sun rises and sets in Gypsy Rose's green, green eyes. Gypsy likes men; there it is, the plain and simple truth. She has been known to take a swat at women from time to time, but is otherwise just sweet as can be.

Gabriella, 'Gabby' to her friends, is eight years old and as gentle and loving as they come. Gabby misses that special bond with a person dearly. Favorite quirky kitty behavior? To ride shotgun on your shoulder. Oh yes please, 'going up'?

Boy oh boy, do we have kittens. Gray, black, black and white ... All shapes and sizes of kittens. Bouncing, bursting, bashful, baleful- you name it, we've got just the right kitten (or two) for you.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
